Description
The Magician’s Nephew tells how Narnia began. Readers follow Diggory and Polly as they are thrown into a dangerous, otherworldly adventure by Diggory’s greedy, mad magician uncle. Amidst their adventures, the children meet a wild variety of characters, from a dark sorceress to a kindly cabdriver and his wife. Lewis’s profound, philosophical symbolism leads readers on a journey not only to other worlds, but also deeper within themselves, and ultimately to God.
